Moura, AN DANZZA’s new single and the first from Encantadas, their upcoming album, is now available on digital platforms like Spotify, Amazon Music, Tidal, Deezer, Apple Music... and as a music video on YouTube. The song is inspired by the Galician legend of the moura from Castro de Negros, a creature who turns into a woman every morning and transforms into a snake by night. Bound for eternity to that castro—some versions suggest she must guard a hidden treasure—it is said that only the bravest can break her enchantment. To do so, one must visit the place at midnight, allow the moura, in her snake form, to coil around their body, and then take the carnation from the snake’s mouth using their lips. But so far, no one has completed the feat.
Encantadas, AN DANZZA's forthcoming album, is a collection of fairy legends from the Iberian Peninsula, featuring stories from Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria, the Basque Country, Catalonia, Murcia, Madrid, Guadalajara, Extremadura, and Portugal. The new album is currently being recorded and will be released in the coming months.
